LOTW
June 3-6. Stayed at Birch point on Buffalo Bay in Canada. Caught 70+ walleyes in less than 10 hours of fishing. Crawler harnesses first day, pulled cranks and used jig and emerald shiners that we seined from the lake. Used shiners, mimic minnows, cranks the third day. All produced. Crank baits at 2.5 mph in 3-6 ft of water. Biggest fish was 22" caught in shiner. Had a 25" or so up to boat and shook off. All fishing done in 6' or less Most consistent method was crankbaits as it produced all eater size fish (15-19"). Lots of fun with Mark and Ty. Lots of Blue.
Meche
Second Sunday of walleye season. 5 eyes in the 13-16" range. Never made it to the honey hole due to stormy conditions.
